Psychological Testing and Evaluation 

I have extensive training and experience in providing psychological testing for children, adolescents, and adults for a variety of psychological problems.

Motivational Interviewing

As an addictions counselor, I was trained and continually utilized motivational interviewing to promote behavioral change in addiction and co-occurring disorders.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been trained in providing CBT for various disorders for children, teens, and adults for over 10 years.

Child or Adolescent Issues

I have experience and specialized training in the assessment and treatment of children and adolescents. I have provided comprehensive psychological evaluation for learning disabilities, ADHD, social, behavioral, and emotional functioning, and various child and adolescent issues. I have been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy for Children (TF-CBT).

Drug Dependence / Abuse / Addiction

My doctoral dissertation was part of a larger study with UCLA examining a medication-assisted treatment for alcohol dependence. I have had years of education and years with working with addiction treatment and I also received my certification as an addictions treatment counselor (CATC-V).

Anxiety

I completed specialized training through the International OCD Foundation in cognitive behavior therapy (CBT) in the treatment of obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety related disorders. I have provided treatment as a senior clinician at a treatment clinic specializing in anxiety disorders.
