My Ideal Client

I specialize in working with queer individuals, neurodivergent clients, and those navigating trauma, grief, and identity. I support clients in deconstructing harmful societal narratives and exploring how systems of oppression, such as racism, sexism, and ableism, impact their lives. My ideal clients are open to exploring and deconstructing their stories, learning the hard skill of self-compassion, and healing in a space that is empowering, non-judgmental, and collaborative.

My Background and Approach

I chose a career in therapy because human connection is essential to me. We live within systems and constructs built on things like capitalism, patriarchy, and colonization. They are not built for most humans. I feel that connecting with others is the only way to survive these systems. As a queer, femme, cis-ish, Jewish, neurodivergent, non-monogamous trauma survivor, I benefit from many intersections of privilege and experience historically oppressed intersections. Throughout my journey, I've learned to develop self-compassion that was not always extended by the systems I engaged with. Therefore, I am passionate about helping people heal the trauma caused by living within these systems and not fitting into society’s rigid boxes. I believe we can learn and develop who we truly are and access change through our therapeutic connection and connection to others.

My Values as a Therapist

I have a wide range of interests, including ethical non-monogamy and polyamory, people's relationships to sex and pornography, the impact of trauma on a person’s relationship to sex, social justice, relational work with neurodiverse populations, queerness, grief, loss, death, the dying process, and dismantling internalized biases that have been put on us, like fatphobia, homophobia, transphobia, racism, heteronormativity, and monogamy. I am also a death doula outside of my therapy practice and have completed an End of Life training through INELDA.
