My Approach to Helping

I provide a collaborative and holistic mind-body approach to psychotherapy. I believe that every individual has an innate capacity to heal and deepen their connection to self/others. I offer practical tools to help you achieve a greater sense of growth and well-being and find relief from the unhealthy patterns that keep you stuck. It is my goal to create a safe and compassionate environment in which your unique strengths and resources can be accessed, and the negative experiences from the past that continue to affect the present can be uncovered and resolved. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who experience relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. Within these modalities, I integrate EMDR, attachment theory, IFS, sensorimotor psychotherapy, and somatic based approaches to provide the most comprehensive and holistic care.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I hold a master's degree in counseling psychology from Lewis & Clark College with an emphasis in Eating Disorders and Addiction. My training includes clinical experience in both partial hospitalization and outpatient levels of care with children, adolescents, and adults. I offer four years of experience in a partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient level of care as the Primary Therapist at the Eating Disorder Center of Portland and Program Director at Center for Discovery Portland Outpatient, which allowed me to work with an array of eating disorder symptoms and co-occurring conditions. I specialize in working with adolescents and adults who experience relationship issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, substance abuse, and eating disorders. NOT ACCEPTING NEW CLIENTS AT THIS TIME
