My Ideal Client

I'm passionate about working with folks around LGBTQIA identity, gender identity and exploration, life transitions, anxiety and depression, neurodivergence, and processing trauma. As a queer and non-binary person, I am especially committed to working with queer and trans communities.

My Background and Approach

I use an integrative, psychodynamic approach incorporating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Narrative Exposure Therapy, Eye Movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) and attachment theory. I completed my graduate degree in Marriage, Couple, and Family Therapy, with a specialization in sex therapy, from Lewis and Clark Graduate School, and worked in community mental health before becoming a therapist. I have been in private practice since 2021. I’ve always been drawn to people and questions of justice, healing, and how to make sense of ourselves, our experiences, and our place in the world.

My Values as a Therapist

I am anti-racist and equity focused in my work. This means I am sex, kink, body, and fat-positive, incorporate the tenets of disability justice into my practice, and aim to provide polyamory / non-monogamy and neurodivergent affirming care. Our lives are political, and our mental health and well-being is always tied to the systems and structures we live within.
