In therapy, I provide a warm and accepting space where we work together, respectfully exploring what nourishes you and what your needs, values, and aspirations are. We’ll explore what holds you back, where you’d like to see change, and what may support you in expressing your whole authentic self. We’ll gently and slowly uncover what experiences your body may be holding as they arise in the present moment and how to interpret your body's innate guidance and knowledge.
Specialties
I practice relationally meaning I am a human in the room with you - I may cry and laugh with you and use self-disclosure. We are equals in the therapy room.
While I love working with individuals around empowerment and embodiment, I am particularly passionate about working with couples. Couples therapy works best when both parties are in individual counseling.
Our past pains and trauma don't live in our mind, the residual of our experiences is held in the tissues and fascia of our bodies. This is why a bottom-up approach is helpful in therapy. When we lean into our body's intelligence and learn to listen to and honor the voice of our body, that's where healing happens.
Specialties
As a society, we don't collectively have a proper container for marriages and partnerships, and so I seek to provide a solid ground and container where we work together to improve communication and deepen intimacy.
Trauma and abuse have been passed down from generation to generation. And, so has resilience. I hold a transgenerational lense in our approach to moving forward.
For many of us in the West spirituality is missing from our lives. Let's work together to uncover what fills your cup.
