My Ideal Client

She is devoted to working with individuals navigating and processing issues related to identity, belonging, trauma, transitions and loss, while fostering a nurturing space for self-discovery and emotional growth. Her ultimate goal is to empower individuals to connect with their authentic selves, access their inner resources and create meaningful, lasting change in their lives. She aims to emphasize inclusivity and respect for the diverse experiences that shape each client’s journey.

My Approach to Helping

I am an art therapist in training, specializing in grief and trauma. By integrating the creative process and making art in the therapeutic practice, I hope to provide clients with unique and powerful tools for self-expression, exploration, and healing. Through a combination of methods, art therapy can be effective in helping clients achieve harmony between their emotional, intellectual, spiritual and physical aspects of life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As an adoptee and single parent, she brings a deep personal understanding of caregiving, personal growth, and the unique challenges of adoption. In her free time, Ashley enjoys anything to do with the outdoors like kayaking, fishing, birding, and whale watching. She also likes reading, running, playing guitar and creating art! She is consistently pursuing additional education and training to expand her existing knowledge and skills for the communities she serves and has plans to become a certified EMDR therapist.
