Our Ideal Client
We work with individuals and families throughout the lifespan. Our clients often struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, gender dysphoria, or ADHD. You or your child may also experience difficulties with general life stressors, relationships, trying to figure out identity, emotion regulation, low self esteem, sleep disturbances, and inability to cope with daily life, such as work, school, or daily tasks. Our therapists also specialize in working with the LGBTQIA+ community.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
We use CBT with clients to help challenge negative or irrational thoughts to reduce anxiety and depression. We work together over time to identify more positive realistic beliefs or thought patterns to replace the negative beliefs. This type of therapy can also address low self esteem or negative view of self. CBT is about how emotions, thoughts, and behaviors relate to each other.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
We utilize DBT coping skills for interpersonal relationships, mindfulness, distress tolerance, and emotional regulation. Client's have an option of using worksheets for these skills if they would like, but this is not a requirement.

Relational
The therapeutic relationship is the key determinate of therapy being successful in reducing or managing symptoms and accomplishing treatment goals. By using a relational approach, we can help clients feel that we are a safe trusted supportive person in life which allows us to make progress together. We truly value the relationships we develop with clients. We have found it to be the reason why client's continue to meet with us and report liking us as a therapist.

Family Therapy
We have a provider who offers family therapy sessions. This can help children and parents learn skills to improve their relationships and build skills for any difficulties that may be occurring at home or school.

Our therapists use an eclectic approach because we understand that one method doesn't work for every person. We have training and experience working with various evidenced based practices. Our therapists will use the best practices for the experiences and struggles that you have. Anxiety
Anxiety can really negatively impact our lives. Many people struggle with physical sensations, such as difficulty breathing, heart racing, or feeling hot or sweaty. Additionally, you may experience sleep disturbance, muscle tension, fatigue, restlessness, and irritability. People also struggle with anxious thoughts and beliefs. Our therapists can help you learn what triggers your anxiety and ways to cope with these symptoms

Depression
Depression is another difficult experience that you may struggle with. Depression can look very different depending on the person, such as feeling sad, numb, or empty. You may experience loss of interest in things you enjoy, changes in sleep or appetite, fatigue, worthlessness, hopelessness, low self esteem, and suicidal thoughts. Our therapists can help you improve your mood and learn ways to manage your symptoms.

PTSD
Whether you have experienced a single event that was traumatic or repeated traumatic events, our therapists are here to help you process your experiences and learn ways to cope with the symptoms you may experience. PTSD may look like distressing dreams or memories, flashbacks, dissociation, avoidance, difficulty remembering the event, having negative beliefs about yourself or the world, feeling detached from others, or being hypervigilant.

Child or Adolescent Issues
We provide individual and family therapy for children and adolescents. Our therapists have a lot of experience working with children and families. These issues may look like depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, relationship difficulties with peers or family, emotion regulation, or behavioral issues.
