My Ideal Client

While I have worked with a wide range of individuals, I tend to work best with folks who experience relational and attachment challenges, C-PTSD, disconnection, grief and loss, eco-anxiety, and neurodiversity. Many of my clients identify as LGBTQIA+, have personal and/or generational histories of trauma, deeply feel the harmful impacts of capitalism, and live at the intersection of multiple marginalized identities.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy integrates relational-cultural, psychodynamic, and somato-emotional perspectives. These perspectives hold that we are shaped by our histories, both personal and collective, and that we carry patterns of thinking, feeling, and relating in our bodies throughout our lives, and across generations. By exploring our histories, we can often gain insight into our current ways of being, find greater understanding and compassion for ourselves and others, and pave the way for agency, choice, and deep connection in our lives.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a therapist, I aim to provide a collaborative, liberatory, and trauma-informed environment for you to explore your own depths, and attune to your own body and wisdom. I hold awareness of how dynamics of power and oppression may impact your health and wellbeing, and I strive to embody curiosity, respect, and cultural humility in my work. I believe that all people have the innate capacity to heal, and that healing happens when we center dignity, safety, and belonging.
