My Ideal Client

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with 6+ years of experience as a therapist. I work best with adults experiencing challenges in relationships (w/ family members, friends, partners, etc.), grief and loss, &/or life transitions. I also enjoy working with clients who are simply trying to understand themselves better and experience more connection with others. If you have a genuine interest in making more sense of your self, experiences, & relationships, we may be a good fit together!

My Background and Approach

Growth takes place in relationships; I offer a warm, consistent, collaborative, & direct therapeutic relationship. I specialize in supporting my clients explore their internal worlds with compassion and curiosity so that they can improve and deepen their connections with themselves & with others. This will likely include identifying relational and emotional patterns, working to understand how these have come to be, tending to older hurts and wounds, learning and trying out new skills, and more. The primary clinical approaches that I am informed by and incorporate include internal family systems (IFS), attachment theory, psychodynamic psychology, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), & mindfulness practices. I integrate somatic (body) awareness into sessions. I am engaged in ongoing training and learning in all of these modalities. I hope to offer couples/relationship therapy by 2026. I am a Level 1 Trained Clinician in EMDR but do not use EMDR in my practice at this time.

My Values as a Therapist

I strive to practice radical acceptance and offer a non-judgmental, welcoming space to individuals of all backgrounds. It is my sincere hope that with time, my clients can feel safe bringing their most authentic selves to therapy. To support this, I engage in my own ongoing self-reflection to understand how my identities and experiences may show up in the therapeutic space. I am also committed to providing a supportive space to freely name/discuss the various societal systems that oppress or exclude.
