My Ideal Client

You may feel stuck or weighed down by patterns that no longer serve you. You may be navigating conflicts in relationships, struggling with feeling disconnected, or seeking to find your voice. Others come with inner struggles like loneliness, shame, fear, or a sense of not being enough. I work best with people who are curious about themselves and ready to explore the deeper layers of their experiences. Many seek to reconnect with who they truly are—let go of old "shoulds" and self-criticisms.

My Background and Approach

My approach blends depth-oriented therapy and practical tools, creating space for healing, self-discovery, and meaningful connection. Together, we can uncover what’s holding you back, release old patterns of self-doubt, and move toward a fuller, more genuine sense of who you are. Using Embodied Awareness, I’ll help you tune into the parts of yourself that may have been hidden—those feelings, memories, and sensations held in the body and unconscious. This gentle yet profound approach invites curiosity and mindfulness to connect with what has been buried or ignored, fostering self-compassion and deeper understanding. Throughout the counseling process I utilize my training in depth therapy, mindfulness, Narrative Exposure Therapy, and relational and interpersonal approaches. In addition we will look at the cultural and social context in which you live and how these impact the challenges you face.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Many of us believe we need to earn love and belonging—that if we work hard enough, make sense of the past, or fix what feels broken, we’ll finally feel whole. But the parts of you that feel unworthy or carry too much are not flaws to be fixed; they are essential pieces of your wholeness. Therapy isn’t about working harder or pushing yourself to figure it all out. Instead, it’s a process of slowing down and creating space for the unknown to emerge. Therapy helps you get to know yourself more deeply, letting go of old ideas about who you should be—ideas that others have told you or that you've built to stay safe. This process is emotional and sometimes challenging, but it’s how we shed old patterns and uncover more authentic ways of being.
