My Ideal Client

My ideal clients are open, curious, and interested in approaching their mental health care from a holistic, mind-body-spirit lens. They are committed to self work and have a willingness to go inward, look into the places that may scare them, and have a deep desire for positive change. This isn't always easy, clean, or linear, so trusting the process is important. I will operate as a guide and will be here alongside you on your path.

My Approach to Helping

The integrative Mind-Body-Spirit approach I offer allows us to navigate the subconscious mind in order to help you have a different experience of your past and present so you can create a better future. I aim to assist clients with creating safety in their bodies, utilizing somatic based approaches. Our beliefs about ourselves, our self-worth, whether or not we are lovable and worthy, our relationships with money, success, love, partnership, family, health, body image, self-esteem, etc. are all programmed by a very young age, which means that we are operating from an outdated belief system inside of us. Because of this, it is crucial to gain access to the subconscious programs we carry to bring awareness and transformation to the roots of the challenges we face in one or more areas of our lives. Since roughly 95% of your thoughts and beliefs are dictated by the subconscious mind, it is important to access the information in there that is no longer serving you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My integrative Mind-Body-Spirit approach is influenced by spirituality, EFT (meridian tapping), mindfulness, polyvagal theory, NLP, neuroscience & attachment theory. I have worked with clients in varying capacities in the field of mental health since 1998. I specialize in working with anxiety, depression, stress, sobriety from addictions, codependency, chronic illness & pain, relationship issues, food & body image, sexuality, loss of purpose & fulfillment, life transitions, spiritual awakenings, and women's issues. I practice from a somatic, spiritual, depth-oriented, relational, trauma-informed lens. I have extensive experience working with other therapists, counselors, healers, and practitioners who are also on the journey of growth, transformation, and healing. My intention with folks who have chronic illness, pain, or any recurring patten in one's life, is to facilitate acceptance of one's experience and to explore potential root causes through a mind-body-spirit lens.

    The integrative Mind-Body approach I use allows us to go into your mind to the root of what is causing you depression. We will notice and examine the thoughts, images, beliefs, physical sensations, etc that all create the feeling of depression in your system, and we will address these using mind-body modalities in order to bring relief to your system.

  • Chronic Pain or Illness External link

    Mind-Body healing professionals and the field of neuroscience believes that there is no separation of the mind/brain and body. They deeply influence one another. This means that your symptoms likely have an emotional root. I work with clients who have chronic pain /illness who continue to have symptoms despite medical treatment. We work to identify past experiences and traumas that are unresolved that may influence the manifestation of physical illness and pain.

    The integrative Mind-Body approach I use allows us to go into your mind to the root of what is causing you anxiety. We will notice and examine the thoughts, images, beliefs, physical sensations, etc that all create the feeling of anxiety in your system, and we will address these using mind-body modalities in order to bring relief to your system.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

    Whatever the relationship issue is you are facing, we will work together to address the root causes of the pain. Since our past informs our future and issues with our family of origin often play out in our current relationships, we will identify and explore potential unresolved issues that are preventing you from having the relationship you desire so you can make changes that support your well-being and your ability to create healthy relationships. I work with individuals only, not couples.
