My Ideal Client

Having recovered from an eating disorder myself - I know all too well the impact this disorder can have on all aspects of life. My ideal client is an adolescent or young adult struggling with an eating disorder, body image issues, or disordered eating patterns. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space to explore the emotions, stress, and life transitions that often underlie these struggles. I’m here to help you reconnect with yourself, build trust in your body, and move toward healing.

My Background

I hold a BA in Feminist Theory from UC Santa Cruz, where I developed a deep understanding of the complex intersections between identity, culture, and the body—foundational to the work I do today. Over the past five years, I’ve worked extensively in all levels of eating disorder care, including residential treatment, partial hospitalization programs, and intensive outpatient programs. This experience has given me a comprehensive, trauma-informed perspective on the recovery process and the many ways disordered eating can manifest and evolve. I’ve supported clients through the full spectrum of eating disorders, including anorexia, bulimia, binge eating disorder, and ARFID. My approach is relational, intersectional, and rooted in social justice. I strive to create a space where clients feel seen and supported as whole people—not just diagnoses. I’m especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults who are ready to begin or deepen their healing journey.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I come to this work with a deep commitment to fostering empowerment, radical self-love, and liberation for my clients. My approach is grounded in the belief that healing from an eating disorder isn’t just about food, it’s about reclaiming your body, your voice, and your right to exist unapologetically. My politics and background in feminist theory shape the way I see and support my clients. I recognize the systems of patriarchy, capitalism, and white supremacy that fuel disordered relationships with food and body image. I believe recovery is a political act, and I work to create a space where clients feel safe to explore not only their personal narratives, but also the societal messages they’ve internalized. I'm passionate about working with adolescents and young adults because I believe in their power to disrupt harmful norms and build something more authentic. Together, we’ll work to unlearn shame and rebuild a foundation of compassion, strength, and self-defined worth.
