My Ideal Client

I believe that healing happens both in and out of the therapy room — through reparative emotional and relationship experiences. Therapy is one tool to guide you along your path. My training is focused on working with people navigating relationship dynamics of all kinds. I work with trauma-informed methods like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), somatic practices, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and attachment theory to support your journey at your own pace, in your own way.

My Background and Approach

Hi! I'm Carly (she/her). I’m a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist, adjunct professor, and supervisor to therapists-in-training. Working with intimate partners and helping people navigate relationship dynamics is at the heart of my life’s work. I believe in individual and collective healing and liberation for all people through trauma-informed relational work that honors everyone’s unique experience. I use methods like Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family System (IFS), attachment theory, and somatic practices that encourage self-compassion and open us to transformational connection.

More About the People I Treat

I am honored to work with people of all gender expressions, sexual orientations, neurotypes, relationship models, races, religions, ages, sizes, and disabilities. I am a sex-positive therapist and work from a trauma-informed perspective. Let me support you in discovering the tools you need to help you thrive!
