My Ideal Client

I work well with all people that are ready to heal and transform ! I believe each person is capable of healing no matter what their history is. Many of my clients are survivors of trauma and have symtoms of anxiety , depression and emotinal dys regulation , I use a varieity of interventions to help them identify the best tools to help them heal, Incuding DBT,CBT, psyco- analaysis , dream work, expresive therapies

My Background and Approach

I am an LCSW and received my education from the University of Oregon and Portland State University I graduated from the Graduate School of Social Work at PSU and am licensed as an LCSW with the state of Oregon . I have worked in many settings including community mental health and non profits serving children and families . family therapy. I have more recently over the last five years worked with families in need of re unification and I have also worked with addictions and strenght based approchs to supporting folks in recovery and have a CADC licence . I have worked and advocated for my clients within multiple systems including DHS child welfare, family court, and victims servicies , I have worked with children and families that have experienced multiple layers abuse.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have a personal belief in the human spirit and the power of the individual to heal. I strongly support survivors of all traumas and feel honored to be trusted as part of that healing process. Under the right circumstances I believe that trauma and be transformed in to creativity and healing. I have training in DBT, CBT, Psychoanalysis, Dream work and expressive therapies. I look forward to using my combination of experience education and passion for healing to help you transform your trauma and begin to live the life that you want to live.
