My Ideal Client

As a therapist, I am a firm believer that all people have the ability to learn, adapt and grow through their relationship to themselves, and others, in compassionate and productive ways. I believe that each client knows their lived experience best and that there is inherent value in understanding larger societal forces that affect our interactions, relationships and lives. As a multilingual and multicultural person, I provide culturally relevant therapy and facilitate a sustainable, non-judgment

My Approach to Helping

I focus on trauma work, supporting new parents, addressing women’s issues, and providing couples and family therapy. I work with a diverse community of clients, always focusing on creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive space for healing and growth. I am direct and compassionate in my approach—I won’t provide the answers, but I will help you discover them. Whether working with individuals, couples, or families, I believe in the power of collaboration, empathy, and respect for each client’s unique lived experience. I approach therapy from a narrative and emotionally focused lens, guiding clients to explore and reframe their life stories while deepening their emotional connections and understanding of their experiences. I also offer walk-and-talk therapy, integrating the environment as a natural part of our sessions. In addition, I use Mentalization-Based Narrative Exposure Therapy (MBNET), a powerful method for processing trauma.

My Values as a Therapist

Originally from Argentina, I migrated to California as a teenager and have a rich background in agriculture, both as an educator and a small-scale farm owner. My experiences in farming deepened my appreciation for the interconnectedness of our humanity with the environments we inhabit and how these relationships shape us throughout our lives. This perspective informs my therapeutic practice and enriches the work I do with clients. I have a Masters in family, couples, and marriage therapy with a focus on ecopsychology.
