My Ideal Client

If you’ve ever felt like you don’t fit into society’s expectations—whether you’re queer, nonmonogamous, kinky, an artist, or just someone charting their own path—I understand. My practice is a space where you can show up exactly as you are, without judgment, and explore what it means to live your truth. Whether you’re navigating relationships, your identity, or any aspect of self-discovery, I’m here to support you in creating a life that feels liberating and fulfilling.

My Approach to Helping

While I may have training in mental health, you are the expert in your own life. For me, it is crucial to stay present and curious about my client's experiences. I start all of my relationships by getting to know you deeply. Your history, perspective, point of view, and your feelings. Relationship building and trust is crucial, and some clients start to see transformation in their lives just from feeling fully seen and heard. If and when you become ready to go deeper into real lasting behavioral change, I employ frameworks such as Dialectice Behavior Therapy (DBT) or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Together, we’ll explore how you can live more freely and fully in alignment with your values. Feeling oppressed and marginalized can create a lot of anxiety, anger issues, resentment, sadness, depression, and complex trauma (CPTSD.) As a queer person that lives with CPTSD myself, I have done a lot of my own healing in therapy and bring many of my skills to you!

My Values as a Therapist

Human liberation is central to my practice, and I strive to create a space where you can challenge oppressive systems and embrace your true self. I value the importance of validating your own feelings and thoughts—understanding that your lived experience is real and deserves to be honored. I also recognize the need to find acceptance in the limitations of others. While the world around us may not always reflect the understanding or support we need, we can work toward a place of inner peace and resilience. My goal is to help you navigate these complexities, offering both compassion and empowerment as we work together to create meaningful change in your life. I am a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community, and have served LGBTQ+ youth in the school system. I also have a background in activism, within the Black Lives Matter movement as well as within immigration reform. As an immigrant child myself I resonate deeply with the feeling of displacement and survival that many of us experience.
