Hypnotherapy is a recommended treatment for IBS, particularly when brain-body communication contributes to symptoms. It can also be highly effective for other physical ailments, such as chronic lower back pain and fibromyalgia, which often share similar underlying mechanisms of stress, tension, and nervous system dysregulation. Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-focused therapeutic approach designed to help individuals process and release trauma stored in the nervous system. By gently guiding awareness to physical sensations, SE supports the completion of natural survival responses that may have been interrupted during traumatic events. This process helps restore balance, reduce symptoms of trauma, and build resilience, fostering a sense of safety and connection in both body and mind.

Often sleep problems do arise when we are stuck in high energy levels of fight or flight. As a result, our ability to transition into resting states is blocked. Through hypnosis, mindfulness, and Somatic Experiencing, you can learn to navigate the natural waves of activation your body goes through.
