My Ideal Client

My focus is supporting people with anxiety, depression, PTSD, perinatal and perimenopausal transitions, and fellow healthcare workers.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is gentle and aims to help clients reestablish self trust, feel more grounded and navigate life with more confidence and ease. When we take on this courageous work it can transform our lives and how we interact with the world around us. With a focus on neuroscience, I’m particularly interested in how painful memories are stored in our brains and bodies, triggering automatic responses to current life events. When unresolved, these wounds can cause depression, anxiety, relationship struggles, and even physical illness—what was once a protective response no longer serves us. Talk therapy and cognitive approaches are valuable for identifying stuck patterns, but sometimes deeper work is needed to rewire the nervous system. Medication management alongside the therapies I practice help to break these cycles, restoring trust, safety, and peace—a return home to your own healing energy.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Medication Management External link

I use evidence based practice to guide medication choices which evaluates the highest quality evidence in combination with my clinical expertise and your personal preferences. My approach is holistic and gentle.

  • Accelerated Resolution Therapy External link

I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) which is designed to help people process and heal from difficult memories or traumatic experiences quickly. It combines different therapeutic approaches, like eye movement and visualization, to help the brain reprocess memories. ART helps people change how they feel about traumatic memories, reducing the emotional charge they carry, so they can move forward with more peace and calm.

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Depression External link

I specialize in treating depression with a comprehensive approach that combines medication management and supportive psychotherapy. Depression is is a complex interplay of neurochemistry and lived experiences. I tailor treatment to relieve symptoms while addressing underlying issues, helping patients heal, build resilience, and achieve lasting well-being.

  • Anxiety External link

I specialize in treating anxiety through a comprehensive approach that combines medication management and supportive psychotherapy. Anxiety is more than just excessive worry—it stems from a complex interaction of neurochemistry and life experiences. My goal is to help patients find relief from symptoms while addressing the underlying factors that contribute to their anxiety, fostering resilience, emotional balance, and long-term well-being.

  • PTSD External link

I specialize in treating trauma by combining medication management and supportive psychotherapy. Painful memories don’t just stay in the past—they get stored in the body, creating a cycle of distress and chemical imbalance. This keeps the nervous system stuck in fight, flight, or freeze. My approach helps regulate brain chemistry while processing trauma safely, allowing patients to break free from the cycle, heal, and regain a sense of safety and control.

  • Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD) External link

I specialize in treating Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder (PMDD), understanding how its severe symptoms and hormonal shifts can create a sense of chaos and loss of control. PMDD is more than just PMS—it can deeply impact mood, energy, and daily life. I use a combination of medication management and supportive therapy to help regulate these shifts, providing relief and stability so patients can regain control and feel like themselves again.

  • Pregnancy (Prenatal Mental Health) External link

I specialize in perinatal mental health, understanding how this time of change can bring up complex emotions and challenges. My gentle, compassionate, and affirming approach to care aims to nurture and support you throughout pregnancy and postpartum. Through a combination of medication management and therapy, I help guide you in maintaining emotional well-being and feeling confident in your journey.
