I support individuals and couples with anxiety, life transitions, attachment wounds, relationship dynamics, and acculturation stress. I also work with clients who have used psychedelic-assisted therapies and are processing their experiences. My holistic approach integrates mindfulness and the mind-body-spirit connection to regulate the nervous system and shift patterns. I am dedicated to providing a safe, gender-affirming, inclusive environment for LGBTQIA2S+ and BILAPOC clients.
Specialties
I work with individuals and couples to understand and improve relationships. This is done by working with you to gain insight into your emotional pain, as well as the fight or flight responses that can occur in those moments, in order to empower you to choose a different path that aligns with your values. These patterns are then practiced and reinforced each session in order to help you gain new mastery over your mental health and solidify behavioral change.
Specialties
Anxiety speeds us up! Mindfulness can help slow the process down and help us make wiser decisions about how to move forward. I work with many clients in both individual and relational therapy to address anxiety using the latest developments in mindfulness.
I help clients understand the root causes of depression, as well as help them begin to practice individualized skills and habits to slowly improve their mental health, behaviors and habits that can support holistic treatment for depression. This is often done in collaboration with other providers who can also address the potential medical causes that often affect a client's mood and functioning.
Using Restoration Therapy, I help couples identify the source of their pain and reactivity, and then assist them in building new habits together that include vulnerability, nurturing one another's sense of self, staying connected and valuing themselves in order to have enough to give to the relationship.
