My Ideal Client

My clients are motivated to work towards their goals & ready to start therapy. I believe in empowering my clients to develop their strengths & resilience to improve their mental health & overall well-being. Couples I work best with are those who are committed to their relationship, but want to strengthen their relationship, improve their communication or conflict resolution skills. I also work with individuals having a difficult time coping with changes in life, and those who are stressed.

My Approach to Helping

In therapy, I take an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy, Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Ecosystemic Structural Family Therapy (ESFT). During sessions, I am an active participant, providing guidance, feedback, and interventions to help clients achieve their goals. My aim is to empower clients with the skills and insights they need to navigate life's challenges. I believe in creating a collaborative, non-judgmental space where clients can feel supported and heard as they work towards positive change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a biracial, and bilingual (Spanish/English) therapist, I value diversity and strive to provide culturally sensitive care. I offer telehealth services only, and new clients can schedule a free consultation via my website. For individual therapy I am able to bill Regence/BCBS Commercial, PacificSource Commercial (no OHP) and the employee assisted program Lyra Health. I can also provide a super bill. **For couples work I am unable to bill insurance, and am out of pocket, but can also bill EAP Lyra Health. My current hours are Monday's 10:00am-6:00pm and Tuesday's 10:00am-2:00pm
