My Approach to Helping

I believe in treating the mind, body and spirit as a whole person. I am passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and individualized care to patients and families with psychiatric medications and brief psychotherapeutic interventions as well as some alternative therapies in combination with medication management.

Why I Became a Therapist

After years of working with people in health care, I realized that many individuals continue to struggle as they do not have that one special person they can pour out their inner most thoughts, doubts, fears, and anxieties to. I believe that to heal we must have a trusting relationship with someone that understands us. Someone that can give us tools to change and grow but not judge our self-perceived inadequacies. It takes time to build a trusting relationship. I want to be that person for you. I am a mother to four amazing adults and a grandmother to four beautiful independent and spicy littles that have made their forever home within an hour drive to my residence. My husband owns and operates a local family business. My home is here. I plan on staying local; therefore, we will have time to build a relationship and work together to device a collaborative plan that meets your needs.
