My Ideal Client

I believe that by providing a safe therapeutic space through genuine connection, empathy and non-judgement, we all have the ability to heal and grow. I enjoy creating a therapy space that is uniquely tailored to you, aligned with your goals and values. I have a special interest in working with individuals looking to process trauma, but have experience working with a variety of issues and stressors.

My Approach to Helping

Some of which depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, anxiety disorders, grief, relationship struggles and substance abuse. I use a person-centered approach to therapy that draws on techniques from EMDR, somatic therapy, attachment theory, narrative therapy, emotionally focused therapy and trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT). I have received specialized training in EMDR and TF-CBT.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I received my Masters of Science in Rehabilitation and Mental Health Counseling from Illinois institute. My experience includes individual and group work in a variety of settings and programs, including residential treatment centers, out in the community, in client homes, non-profit community mental health organizations, psychiatric hospitals and in private practices. I’m a born and raised Oregonian who identifies as a biracial Native American/White, able-bodied, LGBTQ+, neurodivergent, cisgender woman. I enjoy knitting, baking sweets, cuddling with my cats, listening to audiobooks and gardening. I make every effort to create an inclusive environment for people of all walks of life including, but not limited to, body size/shape, gender, race, country of origin, sexual orientation, ethnicity, religion and disability status. I would love to connect with you and help navigate a path towards healing.
