My Ideal Client

Humans are wired for connection and belonging, and we live among systems that isolate and invalidate our diverse experiences. Often this leads to trauma, pain, and stuckness. We are not meant to walk these roads back to wholeness alone. Whatever led you to where you are, I honor your path and believe you can find your way home with the combination of care and support that you need. I am particularly attuned to working with experiences of chronic pain/symptoms, trauma, and LGBTQ+ issues.

My Background and Approach

I am committed to cultivating collaborative therapeutic relationships rooted in honesty and shared humanity. My goal is to meet you where you are and walk with you towards the change you want in your life. I strive to listen deeply and weave pragmatic tools, information, and reflection. Together I believe we can tend a space of care and curiosity to integrate difficult experiences. My trauma-aware theoretical lens is influenced by somatic parts work, relational, attachment, and pain recovery models. I combine a liberation health framework with what I know about human nervous systems to practice healing as a relational art.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My approach to therapy rests on the understanding that mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health are not separate, and individual and collective wellbeing are deeply intertwined. Personal experience unraveling chronic pain combined with an awe of the human body and brain stokes my fire to share this work with others. I am interested in what possibilities arise when we center the body in our healing, particularly related to chronic pain/symptoms and trauma. I recognize social, cultural, economic, and political contexts as layers of the complex being that is you. When I'm not working, I'm probably tending the garden, creating in the kitchen, making/listening to music, cuddling with a dog, or adventuring outside. I find deep healing through connection to land and seasonal cycles, and like to share this in community with others.
