What I Specialize In

I work with clients to develop awareness and acceptance in times of psychological, relational, and existential difficulty. I am focused on fostering an inclusive, and body/sex-positive environment for growth. I have experience with neurodiverse clients across the ADHD and Autism spectrum as well as clients in open/polyamorous relationships, and my work is kink aware and affirming, as well as LGBTQ+ and gender affirming. I offer a non-judgmental space for growth. With commitment to authenticity and depth-oriented counseling practices, I work to help provide you with a new perspective on life and help you create room for lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Being human is unrelenting, but one of the most amazing things about us, is that we have the capacity for change. Neuroscience has shown us that our brains are able to form new neural pathways, allowing us to create healthier patterns for ourselves, and enabling us to heal old wounds. My own journey of self-discovery has cemented a love of music, travel, film, the outdoors, and spending time with those closest to me. I believe we are all capable, through introspection and curiosity, of fostering our own values and improving our relationship with others as well as ourselves.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Mindfulness-based External link

I work through a Restoration Therapy lens, which is focused on mindfulness around patterns in our lives. Through understanding what is motivating these patterns, we can focus on making changes to add healthier patterns for ourselves.

  • Coaching External link

For those wanting mental health coaching services that are rooted in neuroscience principles and focused on enacting positive changes and forming new patterns of behavior.

  • Art Therapy External link

Art therapy is an extremely helpful tool for those wishing to decrease stress, anxiety and depression, while increasing cognitive function, emotional resilience, insight, and social skills. Plus, it's fun!

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • ADHD External link

As a neurodivergent human myself, I understand firsthand the difficulty in operating in a world that is designed for neurotypical brains. Understanding the differences in our brains through neuroscience helps us solve problems that are unique to the way our brains work. I work with ADHD and Autistic clients to help them move through the world with a focus on self-awareness and acceptance and self-compassion.

  • Polyamorous and Open Relationships External link

As a member of the poly community, I have navigated the complex waters of open and non-monogamous relationships. Learning more about our attachment styles, and our past relationship patterns can help us move into a place of being more securely attached and fulfilled in our partnerships.

  • Relationship / Marriage Issues External link

Relationships of any kind take work. Communication and understanding are at the forefront of all successful relationships. Building better understanding of each other, and learning ways in which to communicate effectively, with love and compassion are crucial to having a happy and healthy partnership.
