My Approach to Helping

I often use neuroscience based art therapy directives to support nervous system regulation and positive brain function. I am a person centered, attachment focused art therapist who often uses the Stages of Change and the Hero's Journey to support identification of self and goals in therapy to increase positive life experiences, make changes and increase personal identity.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that art is for everyone. Art making can support an integration of aspects of self for wholeness and healing. Art holds value in the process of creating, the resulting product or any range in between. Art has defined who I am and helped me process my own life experiences and integrate them into myself in a healthy manner. I personally make art to process my own stuff and continue to reflect on how I can interact with this world as a person that I like and am proud to be. It is my goal to help others engage in the world comfortable in their own skin with hope and direction.
