My Approach to Helping

I use an eclectic approach with an emphasis on person-centered counseling and a multicultural framework. I believe that each person is unique and requires an individualized approach to therapy. I draw from various theories based on what is needed at the time including CBT, DBT, ACT, and mindfulness approaches. It is important to me to create an environment where every person feels respected, seen, and celebrated for all aspects of their identity. My style is supportive, flexible, and strengths-based.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that we are all doing the best we can with the tools we have at any given moment. What we see as problems within us are often ways we have learned to cope and survive our circumstances. My goal is to help you find the tools you need to grow, change, and heal.
