My Approach to Helping

I emphasize a relational approach in therapy, as I believe our therapeutic relationship is key to our work together. I will encourage you to be your most authentic self and live in line with your values using a blend of therapies. My primary approaches include Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, Parts Work, and Acceptance & Commitment Therapy. I’m here to support you at any stage of your recovery journey. Starting therapy with someone new can feel daunting, but my goal is to create a relaxed and comfortable environment. Don’t hesitate to reach out with questions. I look forward to meeting you!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

It's an honor to support people in their recovery process, particularly because I personally know the strength that it takes. It is incredibly rewarding to watch people begin to believe in themselves again. In my free time, I like to practice yoga, go to the gym, read, cook, and spend time outside hiking or just hanging out.

I find it truly invaluable to individuals who struggle to understand their complex experience.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) External link

    Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a therapeutic approach that blends mindfulness with cognitive-behavioral principles. Instead of struggling with your thoughts or categorizing them as "good" or "bad," ACT focuses on helping you detach meaning from your thoughts, making you less reactive to them. You'll learn to live in line with your values and enhance psychological flexibility—the ability to face challenging situations and emotions without resisting or avoiding them.
