My Ideal Client

You feel pulled in all directions—work, home, endless responsibilities—leaving little time to catch your breath. The pressures of daily life, the pressure to perform, and the pain of past experiences, build up, draining your energy and well-being. Anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, and self-doubt are tough burdens to carry, often leaving you feeling stuck, drained, and disconnected from yourself and others.

What I Specialize In

You don’t have to carry this weight alone; together, we can move you forward. As a Registered Associate Counselor, I provide practical, evidence-based therapy for clients in Oregon via telehealth. My approach is direct yet supportive, grounded in EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS), both highly effective, research-backed methods. With these tools, we can work through the pain and help you build resilience, self-worth, and expand your toolkit for navigating life with greater ease and confidence. Imagine facing challenges from a place of strength and self-compassion, knowing you are loved and worthy just as you are. Even in the hard moments, you’ll feel equipped to handle what comes your way, trusting your capacity to move forward with peace and purpose. I’m here to support you every step of the way.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

Therapy is not one-size-fits-all; there are many approaches to understanding and supporting change. Some focus on behavior alone, offering new patterns to follow. While this can be helpful, I’ve seen how challenging it is for people to simply “change” without addressing the deeper reasons behind their actions. My approach recognizes that every behavior has a purpose, even when it’s not serving you in the way you’d hope. Instead of just focusing on what to change, we’ll explore why those behaviors exist, uncovering the underlying needs, emotions, or beliefs driving them. Together, we’ll identify alternative choices that feel aligned with your values and goals, keeping your integrity and individuality at the center of our work. This way, change becomes not just achievable but sustainable, empowering you to move forward in a way that feels authentic and meaningful.

Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • EMDR External link

I specialize in EMDR, a highly effective, evidence-based approach for processing trauma and other distressing life experiences. My training in EMDR, including advanced EMDR 2.0 techniques, equips me to help you reprocess painful memories, reduce emotional distress, and foster resilience. I’ve worked with diverse populations, including those facing PTSD, developmental trauma, and attachment issues, guiding them through transformative healing.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) External link

I believe that IFS is a great way to understand how things work. IFS helps explore and harmonize internal “parts” or subpersonalities. My expertise in IFS will help you understand the protective and wounded parts and foster self-compassion and internal balance. I use this approach in combination with EMDR to address complex emotional challenges and help achieve deep, lasting change.
