My Ideal Client

Are you feeling stuck or overwhelmed by a life transition, relationship challenge, persistent anxiety, or depression? Whether you're navigating changes in your personal or professional life, struggling with relationship dynamics, or dealing with the exhausting effects of anxiety, depression, or OCD, you're not alone. I work with individuals and couples who are ready to address these challenges head-on and find more balance, clarity, and peace.

My Approach to Helping

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to your unique needs, combining evidence-based practices to help you not only cope with current challenges but also build resilience for the future. I use an integrative approach that draws on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, and Mindfulness-based interventions to create a comprehensive treatment plan. In our first 1-2 sessions, we’ll focus on understanding your history and setting clear goals. In follow-up sessions, we’ll work on overcoming barriers and developing skills in areas like coping, communication, and self-care to build confidence and effectiveness. Most clients are seen twice a month for 3-9 months. For couples, I incorporate the Gottman Method to improve relationship dynamics by addressing communication, trust, and intimacy issues, helping to build a deeper connection and foster a healthier, more fulfilling partnership.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a therapist, I value openness, self-awareness, and personal growth, and I believe in creating a space where everyone feels seen and supported. I also find deep connection and renewal through nature—whether it’s hiking, biking, or taking walks and swims along the beach. My business name, Salt and Cedar, reflects my passion for the natural world and the grounding sense of peace it brings. I aim to bring that same sense of balance and health into the therapeutic process, helping clients navigate their own journeys with confidence and authenticity.
