My Ideal Client

I work with individuals with a variety of issues including, but not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship problems, trauma, grief and loss, and sustaining recovery. I aspire for my practice to feel welcoming to clients of any cultural background, race, gender, worldview, or faith.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to therapy is psychodynamic. I have found the Internal Family Systems model to be helpful, and also use motivational interviewing, expressive arts interventions, and mindfulness training when appropriate. I have a background in arts and music, and creativity has an influence on the way I practice psychotherapy. Every client is unique, and I try to tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and to help you achieve your goals. I may be able to negotiate a sliding scale fee for clients paying out of pocket and experiencing financial hardship.
