My Ideal Client

Do you ever feel like you're holding everything together on the outside while quietly unraveling inside? Maybe you're the strong one in your family or community, but you’re exhausted. You might be navigating anxiety, grief, or life transitions that have left you feeling unmoored. I work with adults—especially women and BIPOC clients—who are ready to reconnect with themselves and explore their stories in a space that honors their identity, resilience, and complexities.

My Background

As a counseling intern earning my Master of Arts in Counseling at Northwestern University, I’ve had the privilege of furthering my education and honing my skills working with adults navigating anxiety, depression, grief, and life transitions. My clinical experience includes supporting individuals in crisis settings, facilitating therapeutic groups, and offering one-on-one support to help clients feel grounded and empowered.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe healing happens in community and that therapy can be a space to come home to yourself. As a first-generation Vietnamese American woman, I understand how identity, culture, and intergenerational experiences shape the way we move through the world. I’m committed to practicing from an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive lens. I care deeply about advocating for marginalized communities, particularly BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ folks, and children of immigrants. Outside of the therapy room, I love movies, arts and crafts, and spending time with my dog Tofu and my cat Margot. I believe in the power of softness, laughter, and storytelling as part of the healing process.
