I have studied, reviewed literature and blogged about the topic of adult children of narcissists (ACON) for several years now. I am moved deeply by the struggles around identity, confidence, and self acceptance that ACONS can find themselves in, as well as how adult children of alcoholics often can have similar struggles.

Loss or Grief

It is sadly a part of our culture that a mindful and respectful dialogue about death, loss and the inevitable passage of time is lacking for most of us. I bring years of study, reflection, philosophy, and a little bit of humor, to the topic that we all must face.

Social Phobia

Introverts, perpetual shyness, social avoidance. These topics are more and more commonplace in our social media obsessed culture. Learning to practice self care and developing a nuanced understanding of our social triggers is a survival skill in itself.

Depression

Depression affects us all. How we learn to understand how it is a symptom of our experience and learn to identify the buried feeling(s) beneath it, is paramount to a successful, happy life.
