My Background and Approach
With a Ph.D. and Oregon licensure, I’ve dedicated my career to helping individuals understand and navigate their internal struggles. Specializing in anxiety and obsessive-compulsive–related disorders, I also support clients dealing with depression, trauma, shame, and life transitions. My approach is rooted in evidence-based therapies—such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Exposure Therapy—that empower you to be present, pursue what matters, and manage difficult emotions. I believe in a collaborative process, beginning with 1-3 introductory sessions to ensure a good fit and set personalized, culturally attuned goals. As a queer therapist, I actively welcome discussions on how cultural backgrounds, lived experiences of oppression and privilege, and current socio-political events influence our work together. My goal is to provide a safe, innovative, and supportive space where you can rediscover meaning and reclaim your life.
My Values as a Therapist
I am guided by compassion, integrity, and a deep commitment to evidence-based practice. I believe every client deserves a safe, non-judgmental space where their unique experiences, cultural identities, and personal challenges are honored. I value transparency, collaboration, and continuous learning, and I strive to empower clients to develop self-awareness, resilience, and effective strategies for managing anxiety, fear, and other struggles. Inclusivity and respect for diverse backgrounds—especially within queer and LGBTQIA+ communities—are central to my work, ensuring that every individual feels seen and supported on their journey toward meaningful change.
