My Ideal Client

I utilize narrative therapy to assist clients in discovering how past and present experiences have shaped the story of their lives. I am a HAES-aligned practitioner with years of experience in working with individuals struggling with eating disorders. In my practice, I also work with couples wanting to strengthen and work on their relationship. I am also a member of the LGBTQ+ community and strongly believe in being an ally and advocate for this community and with these clients.

What I Specialize In

I have years of experience in working with folks struggling with disordered eating. Whether you are in recovery for an eating disorder or want to improve your relationship with food and your body, I am here to walk alongside you in this journey. I practice from a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach and believe that we are all deserving of food and body freedom. I help clients identify and break down harmful patterns with food and exercise that lead to undue stress, chronic dieting, and disordered eating. I also have experience working with couples and families. Our relationships are often the most rich and at times challenging aspects of our lives. All couples and families experience times of friction and disconnection and I am here to help. Whether you need guidance in navigating a difficult decision, need help reconnecting, or are simply wanting to strengthen your communication, we can work together to achieve your goals.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In my work as a therapist, I aim to provide a safe and inclusive space for all and I believe deeply that we are wildly capable of healing. As someone who experienced the transformative work of therapy in my college years, I instantly became fascinated with mental health and helping others achieve healing in their own lives. I am constantly in awe of the resiliency of the human spirit and feel deeply grateful for the work I get to do. When I'm not in the office, I love cooking and spending time with my wife and our pup. I also love exploring the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and watching lots of women's soccer.
