My Ideal Client

I work with clients in a direct, down to earth way, focusing on emotional, relational, and mind-body connections. I respect each person’s individuality, shaped by their trauma and resilience, and provide both clear perspective and an embodied path toward a more integrated sense of self. My approach addresses attachment wounds, trauma, self-worth struggles, disconnection from instincts, grief, sexual embodiment, and challenges forming trust in relationship.

What I Specialize In

My work mainly draws on the Hakomi Method, in which clients are guided to slow down and tune into their present-moment experience so we can move beyond just the story and truly work with what arises as they relive it. We explore the deeply held belief structures that shape how current challenges are felt and understood and update outdated patterns to create newer, more aligned perspectives. I work with many clients who need support moving through life transitions, developmental trauma, and relational trauma. I deeply value working with female bodied people in the perimenopausal to postmenopausal stages of life, helping them uncover their innate wisdom during this powerful time. I also enjoy working with fellow therapists curious about somatic approaches, as they often find this work deeply enriching for their personal growth and professional practice.

My Approach to Helping

In our work together, it is my goal to help you access the parts of yourself that are striving to come forward so that you can live a more satisfying and fulfilling life. I do not work to define what is right for you, but rather observe and collaborate with you to find the direction your own individual life force is moving you. My approach is based in the integration of mindfulness and somatic awareness to help heal past wounds, foster emotional and mental clarity, and cultivate deeper relationships. I use mindfulness to uncover old patterns and core beliefs, and use the therapeutic relationship to address relational and attachment issues in real time. The goal of our work together is to help you develop a secure sense of self and feel access to clear choice in your life, as well as the ability to form healthy relationships in ways that fit for you.
