I believe that there can be painful experiences in life that can distort our view of ourselves, of our relationships, and of the world around us. I specialize in coming along-side clients to work through the painful process of overcoming religious/spiritual abuse and trauma. If you are in the process of deconstructing from a religious worldview I would love help you rediscover who you are, what you believe, and what is important to you.
Specialties
I work with clients that struggle with anxiety or social anxiety to find coping mechanisms that work for them to be able to live a life that is fulfilling to them
Using Cognitive Processing Therapy to help process, grieve, and heal from trauma
Our current American culture does not honor or recognize grief or loss well. We are expected to move on and heal quickly when often, grief and loss is something we have to learn to carry and live with in a way that honors what we lost and allows us to continue to move forward.
I specialize in working with client who are rebuilding their faith or trying to decide who they are without their faith
