My Ideal Client

I specialize in supporting female clients who are grappling with anxiety, depression, life transitions, and or grief/loss. I firmly believe that you are the expert of your own life, and my role is to facilitate your journey towards self-discovery and empowerment. In my therapeutic practice, I primarily employ solutions-focused, somatic, IFS, EMDR, and psychodynamic approaches.

Our Background

Over the past 5 years, I have gained experience in diverse settings, including pediatric oncology and transitional housing for single parents. In my current practice, I specialize in working with women. I decided to become a mental health provider because I genuinely enjoy learning about others. I believe that people have the answers to their own life challenges within themselves, and I find fulfillment in facilitating their journey to uncover those solutions. I have also been a Reiki healer for over a year, and I find joy in providing support to those who may not find it in their everyday lives. I take pride in being a trustworthy, empathetic, and non-judgmental person. As a woman, I can relate to many of the struggles that women face in the mental health realm. My goal is to help women empower their voices and find the strength to be their authentic selves.

My Values as a Therapist

I am a lifelong learner currently engaged in training for Internal Family Systems (IFS) and completed my first part of training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I believe in a holistic approach and recognize that there is no "one-size-fits-all" solution for every client. For me, it's crucial to have a diverse array of tools in my therapeutic toolkit to support each client's unique journey to healing. To maintain my clinical license, I am required to complete 40 hours of professional education every two years. I continuously seek out educational opportunities that will further develop and strengthen my skills, particularly in working with women dealing with anxiety, life transitions, and grief and loss.
