My Ideal Client

In my practice, I welcome individuals who are open to exploring their thoughts and behaviors in a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. These clients are seeking understanding and empathy while also being willing to collaborate on identifying and challenging negative patterns. Together, we focus on building resilience, developing coping skills, and fostering positive change in their lives. I especially enjoy working with an older population and teens!

My Approach to Helping

Being a counselor for me means being that safe space for somebody who is struggling with the way they view themselves and the world around them. I want someone to walk away from sitting with me and feel like they were truly seen and celebrated. I want them to feel empowered and like they are capable of getting through the things they're struggling with.

Why I Became a Therapist

I always knew I would end up in a helping profession but as I got older I realized I loved talking to people about feelings and why they thought about things the way they did. I loved hearing about people relationships and where they felt like they really flourished and where they felt like their growth edges were. I loved hearing about peoples fears and what scares them, and then what gives them life and fills their cup. Every aspect of our lives is valuable and important and the conversations held in the therapy room are the types of conversations I love having with people. Its an honor to be trusted with these things and to feel that in a place of invisibility, you are seen.
