My Ideal Client

I work with clients experiencing a variety of concerns, including day-to-day stressors, anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and more.

My Approach to Helping

I strive to create a comfortable and safe atmosphere for each of my clients. I have a warm and compassionate personality, as well as a strong sense of humor that will help us connect along the way. My clinical approach draws on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Together, we'll explore what behaviors and thoughts support or hinder your efforts to move closer to your values. Along the way, you will learn to navigate difficult emotions and painful thoughts with greater mindfulness, acceptance, and self-compassion.

My Values as a Therapist

I believe change and healing is best inspired by connecting with what matters most to you, whether that be friendship, family, safety, nature, or whatever else! It's our values that drive our best actions and help us face life with resilience. I care deeply about human rights, diversity, nature, and compassion so these values show up in my work with clients. Together, we may examine how societal factors drive many of the mental health issues of today, how to connect with nature in a way that enhances mindfulness and activates awe, and how to maximize compassion in our relationships and self-talk.
