What I Specialize In

I combine somatic (body-focused), mindfulness-based, and depth (psychodynamic) approaches to explore messages that arise through body symptoms, beliefs, patterns, and/or dreams. I work experientially, which means we include your present moment, felt-sense experience to discover direct insight and avenues for change. I have found that these approaches lead to compassionate self-understanding and positive, lasting change. My somatic therapy training includes 7+ years of study in the Hakomi method of mindfulness-based somatic psychotherapy training, including focus in parts work, neurobiology, attachment, character strategies, and trauma-informed practices. My psychodynamic training includes an M.A. in counseling psychology with emphasis in Jungian depth psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
