My Ideal Client

Anxiety, Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder in kids can show up in big ways and leave families spiraling. I get that you can’t always prevent kids from struggling, but we can give them the skills to thrive in the face of life's challenges. With skill building through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), I help kids and parents develop a toolbox of evidenced based strategies to face their fears and courageously take back their lives from anxiety & OCD.

What I Specialize In

With skill-building through Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Exposure Response Prevention (ERP), we help kids and parents develop a toolbox of evidenced based strategies to face their fears and courageously take back their lives from Anxiety and OCD. The therapy we provide focuses on teaching children to be aware of their own emotions, to notice and critically evaluate their thoughts and to employ adaptive behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and other self-soothing skills to help themselves remain grounded in difficult situations rather than getting swept away by worry or big emotions. For over a decade we have successfully helped children build skills to manage stress, improve mood, increase self-regulation, and optimize potential. My playful, energetic, and collaborative style connects with kids and I prioritize finding fun, developmentally-appropriate ways to individualize treatment. If you're feeling stuck give me a call, I can help.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I understand that you want the best for your child. You're proactive about their emotional well-being and ready to support them through the challenges of growing up in today’s world. You recognize the importance of resilience and emotional intelligence, and you're looking for expert guidance to foster these qualities in your child. I believe in a collaborative approach, where therapy isn't just a service, but a true partnership. I believe strongly in the power of mindfulness & self-compassion. I integrate these principles into my own life and in my practice, creating a rich toolkit of techniques and exercises for those I works with. These skills are designed to guide my young clients on a path of self-care and acceptance, helping them build a lifelong habit research shows can profoundly impact their well-being. Through this approach, I offer a meaningful way for kids to connect with themselves and the world around them in a positive, impactful manner.
