I have extensive training in areas of autism assessment and evaluation, internal family systems, therapy, and psychedelic preparation and integration.
Specialties
My training and lived experience have taught me powerful practices to bring healing and hope to the parts of you that may hold memories and wounds from absent or neglectful caregivers, school trauma, historical abuse, or any of the other myriad forms of historical trauma you may have endured. My approach is trauma-informed, compassion-focused, and tailored to the unique needs of your nervous system and internal world.
I have additional training in neurodivergence and Autism and offer Autism evaluations to adults looking to make sense of their lived experiences and seeking an official diagnosis. As a Neurodivergent affirming practitioner, I honor and celebrate the diverse ways in which brains can function. The Neurodivergent affirming perspective holds that Autism, and other forms of neurodivergence, are natural variations of the human experience rather than deficits or disorders that need to be "fixed.”
My background working as a chaplain in university and high school offered me firsthand experience of both the beauty and pain religion can bring. Working as a chaplain prior to becoming a therapist, prepared me to work with clients navigating healing from religious harm and high control religions, and perhaps deconstructing beliefs, and burdens acquired in those spaces that they are ready to unpack and heal from.
