Techniques I Use

Specialties

  • Cognitive Behavioral (CBT) External link

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidenced-based approach that focuses on how thoughts, emotions and behaviors influence one another. CBT targets unhelpful thinking patterns and emotions that often lead to unhelpful reactive behavior, and aids in rewiring neuro pathways through cognitive skill-work, exposure to stimuli causing fear, and managing distressing emotions using self-help strategies. Let's rewire the anxious brain!

Issues I Treat

Specialties

  • Eating Disorder External link

I specialize in the diagnosing and treatment of individuals with eating disorders and professional experience working in individual, group, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient treatment programs. I utilize a Health at Every Size (HAES) and Intuitive Eating lens in my work, as I focus on going back to a grassroots approach of learning how to reintegrate instinct, emotion and rational thought into one's relationship with food and their body.
