My Approach to Helping
We often find ourselves—our bodies, our spirits—navigating the winding path back to health after overwhelming experiences: birth, chronic illness, trauma, grief, or profound loss. Reigniting our inner fire and returning to emotional equilibrium can feel elusive, yet deeply vital. As a somatic psychotherapist, I see my role not as a fixer, but as a sacred collaborator—walking alongside clients as they reconnect with the innate wisdom of their bodies and process the echoes of trauma, anxiety, depression, and grief. My approach weaves together Somatic techniques, EMDR, Parts Work, Transpersonal psychology, mindfulness, and energetic work. Grounded in a trauma-informed, anti-racist, and socially aware framework, I hold space for healing that honors the complex intersections of mind, body, spirit, and lineage. The body is a vessel of profound intelligence—emotional, spiritual, and ancestral—and I am here to help you listen, reclaim, and remember your inherent capacity to heal and thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Rooted in creativity, sensitivity, and a deep reverence for healing, my work as a therapist is shaped by my lived experience as an artist, HSP, mother, chronic illness warrior, and activist. My path—from a childhood in rural PA to studying art in Baltimore, to reclaiming my body and voice in San Francisco—led me to somatic psychotherapy as both a personal and professional calling. I hold a MA in Somatic Psychology from California Institute of Integral Studies and have over a decade of experience working in private practice & community mental health. I move through the world with deep feeling, a vivid imagination, and a relentless curiosity about the human spirit. I am someone who values complexity, who listens closely to the spoken and unspoken, and who is always in process—learning, unlearning, and tending. My work is an extension of who I am: intuitive, grounded, creative, and committed to collective liberation.
