My Ideal Client

Feeling hyperaware of your symptoms, experiences and self in general can be exhausting and often generate feelings of shame, guilt and frustration. You may feel stuck on where to go next once you've learned so much about yourself. Taking a break from your thoughts and dropping into your body can be both challenging and rewarding. You deserve a relationship with yourself that is healing, validating and nourishing.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to supporting and helping people on their unique journey of healing is first and foremost collaborative. Therapy is challenging on its own and I strive for each person I work with to feel safe and supported to engage actively in deciding how their treatment goes. I've worked with adults who have experienced complex and chronic trauma that has negatively impacted their relationship with themselves and their ability to experience their emotions. I have experience working with folks who have tried therapy in the past and feel stuck with too much awareness and not enough support to move through and past challenges and problems. I work collectively with each client to identify their current relationship to and with their body when experiencing their emotions and collaborate from there times to weave in breath work, mindfulness, grounding exercises and other somatic interventions to support the relationship between mind and body.

Why I am a Good Fit for You

I believe that everyone is capable and deserving of healing and connection. So many different experiences can impact and influence how we think, feel and function. Another impact on us as people are the various and intersecting identities we possess: partner, sibling, friend, student, parent, child, queer, trans, neurodivergent and that is just to name a few. I take all identities and experiences into consideration when working with folks because I believe that therapy cannot be done without that information. I value folks for all that they are and all that they might wish that they weren't with an aim to healing the relationship amongst all the parts of you through integrative healing with the mind and body. Our mind and bodies cannot exist without one another, yet we often operate as if they do. Reconnecting or plugging back into the body is scary and uncomfortable but it is also rewarding and has the ability to cultivate a healing experience for all your parts and identities.
