My Approach to Helping

I believe that the work of therapy is to come home to ourselves. Who we are is a blend of the ways we were raised, supported, marginalized and tended to. Our selfhood is our own and co-created by the people around us, and therapy is a gentle process of forming nourishing ties to others and learning to trust our own inner knowing. I work from a somatic and intergenerational framework, assisting clients in weaving together our bodies, minds, relationships and ways of knowing. In therapy, I will ask you challenging questions, validate your sorrow and rage and shine a light on your innate strengths. I will walk with you while we explore your histories, identities and dreams. I work in-person, virtually and ecotherapeutically (outdoors).
