My Approach to Helping

Depending on your unique circumstances and needs, sessions may be offered through an online, in-office, walk-and-talk, or hybrid format. For clients who are interested in supplementing their treatment with horticultural therapy, we can work with plants in-office, virtually, or at local garden sites. Please inquire about seasonal children's horticultural therapy groups, which focus on strengthening emotional awareness, emotional regulation, self-trust, self-worth, and collaborative skills via therapeutic horticulture activities. Why Nature? Research shows that connecting with nature, both indoors and outdoors, can help reduce cognitive overload, improve mood, and foster a sense of balance and well-being. Engaging with our natural environment has been found to minimize stress, increase emotional resilience, and create a deeper sense of connection to oneself, others, and the broader living world.
