My Ideal Client

I work with adults who are navigating challenges related to depression, anxiety, ADHD, and life transitions. My ideal clients are individuals who are seeking a deeper understanding of their mental health and are motivated to make meaningful changes in their lives. In our first few sessions, I'll listen to you intently and then we'll determine a path forward. Most of my clients start to feel better within a few months.

What I Specialize In

I specialize in psychodynamic psychotherapy, which is well-suited to people who want to get to the root of long-term problems and patterns that continually crop up and get in the way of living a fulfilled life. I incorporate this expertise into my medication management appointments, as well as with patients who are seeking therapy. As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, sometimes I will recommend medications that I believe will help you to make best use of therapy.

My Approach to Helping

My approach to care is warm, direct, and attentive. I believe in having honest, thoughtful conversations about your mental health while providing a supportive space to explore what’s working and what’s not. When prescribing medication, my goal is always to find the lowest effective dose.

    I'm an experienced psychiatric prescriber who focuses their treatment recommendations on the whole person. I'm particularly well-versed in helping clients with depression, anxiety, and ADHD. In addition to my private practice, I teach in School of Nursing at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) which ensures that I'm up-to-date on cutting edge treatments.
