My Approach to Helping

Similarly to my choice of approach, the ultimate objective of our time together will differ between individuals, and we can work together to identify your personal goals. I have experience in providing counseling, assessments, and crisis intervention to individuals struggling with mental health, trauma, and addiction issues. I am well versed in the area of trauma and I bring an understanding of the effects of trauma into my work for the therapeutic benefit of my clients. Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) is just one healing modality I can utilize with clients.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My professional experiences have given me a deep understanding of mental health, trauma, addiction issues and their impact on clients. The attitude I bring to my work conveys both dignity and respect and I hold the belief that people can change. My goal is to create a safe space in which clients can explore their life narrative and navigate moving forward.
