My Ideal Client

If you are someone who seeks the equilibrium, safety, inner strength and peace of mind but may need some help getting there. Maybe you have moved away from where you want to be internally centered, or relationally. Whether to solve specific problems, or get answers, or you just want to delve more deeply into yourself and find out more. Therapy can help. I am here to shine a light in the darkness, and build a path we can walk down together, at your pace.

My Approach to Helping

Our work together will be creative, integrative and mindful. I have extensive training in psychotherapy and art therapy with a focus on social justice and diversity. Our sessions could include talk therapy, therapeutic art and sensory awareness. I believe change and healing develop within the bounds of a safe, trusted, ethical, and healthy therapeutic relationship. When you are ready, I can help you take back your power, build resiliency and remove roadblocks that are getting in the way.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I truly believe that both therapy and art saved my life. This is what motivated me to want to help others, as I can speak from experience. Going to therapy helped me manage feelings I just didn’t understand, and helped me to realize I didn’t have to carry around this pain all by myself. In therapy I was able to find relief, and compassionate support. I have always believed that everyone has the ability to grow and change, and as I continued in my own inner work, a healthier, happier person emerged. Having been there myself, I will be your ally. We will make a plan that's a road map that will keep us on course to uncovering, and working through what ever challenges life has thrown you. No problem is too big, or too small to address in therapy. I am here to listen, celebrate your triumphs and work on your issues with empathy and care. I value your privacy, and honesty, and building a collaboration that benefits you on your path of self-development.
